I’ve been a passionate amateur photographer since college, when a similarly passionate professor introduced me to large-format photography and Ansel Adams. After I graduated, I purchased a 35mm camera and learned to develop my own black-and-white film and prints.
When I lived in Europe from 1996-2000, photography merged with my love of travel and I made pictures from the north of Scotland to the southernmost tip of South Africa.
Film turned to digital and one thing led to another, but I’m still actively seeking new places to visit and new things to capture.
I’m lucky to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest of the United States.
